Did you meet your 'GOALS' this season??

Hey everyone, It has been a while since I posted anything here, but I was thinking.....

At the beginning of the season (we started riding in mid-March here in Wisco) I set a goal of puting 100 hours on my boat this year. (100 hrs in the boat means 50 hrs of riding and 50 driving, right??) anyway, Well it is Mid September now, I checked the Hr Meter on my boat, and It reads 65 hrs, so I better get out until November this year if I want to reach my Goals. How About You out there have you met your Goals? Lets hear about your season so far. Have you met your Goals? What are/were they? Do you need some motivation to get out and ride some more? We are all here to support each other. Water ain't gettin any warmer, Bust out the wesuits and keep it going as long as you can keep the feeling in your feet. My last ride last season was November 2, and the water temp was 42. Burrr

Well That's it from me, lets hear what you have to say:

    Peace out,

I also had the 100 hour goal but am well short at about 42 hours. The thing is, we've skied like crazy this year. The reason for the low hours is that the engine was running only with a skier behind the boat or on the way to a ski area. No idling between sets/skiers, no real "boating", just skiing. I thought I'd be much further along with the slalom course, but have fallen quite short in that aspect as well. It's been a great season but we still have 2 months left here in Chicago.

Yep 100 hour goal for me this year as well. It was a high goal since we put in about 200 ft from the slalom course and probably 85% of my boat usage is in the the course. With Texas weather I will be adding a lot of hours before we put her up for the short winter layover, but we're just at around 50 hours so far. I had a three month layup from the first week in June until the last week of August due to a shoulder injury.

My skiing goal was to qualify for nationals this year in Mens 2. (I haven't done any tournament skiing since college so I was excited to try again) I really did not get a chance to make that happen due to the injury, but I'm really motivated to work hard through the end of the year now and keep my strength up over the winter to avoid an injury again next season.

I wanted to pull off a back roll/invert back flip this summer. Unfortunately, I've only done a few 3/4's so far. My toe side jumping has improved a lot though. Good summer, great day Saturday. My last day, assuming the weather is good will be 9/30. Have a good winter and someone hurry up and show the new 210 already.

Not so much. Still haven't pulled off more than 3 footers at a time, slalom skied and wakeboarded for the first time this past weekend, and still can't get up backwards longline (although this has A LOT to do with the driver). We've got a solid month left and as long as I'm out there trying I'm happy.

hahaha 100hr goals, I am doing my best to keep the hours low, bought the boat in july, and after this weekend we hit 60hrs, we ride year round but i ride on 5 boats so we try and trade pulls every weekend so they dont rack up......

Reached my goal of running 6 @ 32-off, next year I will tackle 35-off. My skiing has been dissappointing lately however!

Kind of a frustrating summer for me as knee surgery really put me behind the power curve. Significantly less riding & boat hours than years past. My big hope was to be able to get back to where I could throw all the tricks I had before and hopefully learn one more new thing. As it stands, I'm still fearful of even going upside down. I should still have a month or so to get my courage back up, tho!!

Yea, I got inverted on the Sky Ski landing my dismount gainers, I need to hang onto the rope now and ride one away. Also as the clip below shows, my son learned backrolls on his kneeboard.

Actually we go out year round as well. we pick our days when it's pretty in the winter and ride with drysuits. We always go up to Hyco Lake and surf on New Years Day.

I boat my first ski Nautique in May and my goal was 100 hrs as well, I am a slalom skier so I bought a 196. I ended up with 75 hrs on it. After My friend skied behind my boat he decided to buy one to. We mainly ski together so between the two boats we put about 135 hours on the water this year.
