After my pair of Spy Curtis's fell off my face last season and into the murky abyss we call the river I was left to squint the rest of the season from behind the wheel. So now im in the market for some new sunglasses. What kind of sunglasses are yall wearing out on your nautiques. All my friends wear costas and i've seen some pairs that i like alot but i thought id consult the boating experts here before i buy a pair of shades.

I have owned three sets of Arnette. Nothing too special about them, but I like the look.

My nice Ray-Ban "Aviators" (outdoorsman) with the loop earpieces are awesome for being on the water, NEARLY impossible to fall off your head.

I have alway been partial to Arnettes. I have a pair of Arnettes with prescription lenses, polarized with an amber tint. They are truly amazing on the water.

Whatever you get, get polarized lenses for sure. Soooo much better on the water.

i like the arnette frames, but i swear by costa lenses. i can't go anywhere without mine. even on a dark day i wear them just because i have gotten use to a glare free life (a must if u do any kind of fishing as well) i highly recommend the blue 540 lenses little pricier, but well worth it. (atleast i think, i found mine at work )

I had some Spy Clint's I used primarily last season and just this winter scored some polarized Electric Digits that'll prolly become my primary boating gogs.

If you're into decent deals on specs keep an eye on Steep and Cheap. They have glasses on there all the time and they're always at least 50% off, usually 60-70% off. Oakleys, Spys, VonZipper, Electric, etc. Very addicting site![/url]
