Well sorry to make this public...but after two awesome years of loyal and awesome employment at Buxton Marine I have been released from any means of buying food. Several of you know that I am attending a Fire Fighting school...I had made a verbal agreement with Buxton Marine that it was ok for me to attend this school...that I will graduate from on May 18th and be able to continue my employment during the busy season from here on out.
This business establishment made me feel that I was a crucial part of the family. I invested myself in this as a former Nautique owner and employee of another Nautique dealer. However, they had the nerve to send me a letter, rather than tell me of what...if any issue they had with my aiding in the sales process.
I miss...more than any of you know...the job and relationships I made during this employment...I went to bat against any person that had a negative issue with this organization.
I decided to become a Fire Fighter to serve and put my life on the line for the people of my community and supplement my income during the boat season. Had I known this would have happened I would have gone to the night Fire Fighter Academy...in order to continue with a job and product I cared so deeply for.
I have never felt more let down and betrayed. I am sure some of you can relate to the stomach ulcer I have over the worry of making ends meet.
"At this time, I am unable to continue your employment based on your availability." Phil Smith
I never made a choice to leave Buxton Marine...I made a decision to cut back hours during the slow season to earn and better myself.

P.S.
I know of a dealer in Austin has worked with salesmen that wanted to become a Fire Fighter.
