Vacation spots is midwest

Anybody got any ideas for a boating vacation within a days drive of Central Ohio?

I love Norris, Cumberland and Dale Hollow, but my other half wants to go somewhere not quite so secluded.

Any tips would be appreciated. :?:

Stonewall Jackson Lake in West Virginia (about 1 hour south of Morgantown on I79) is very nice. It's secluded, but the Stonewall Resort is a very nice facility (restaurant, pool, bar, spa, golf course). We rented a lakeside cottage last year and enjoyed it so much we're going back again in July.

I've heard lake Sutton in W.Va is nice...never been there.

There's also a public lake in SE Ohio w/ a course...I would have to look it up.
