    Rental Car Towing

Looking at purchasing a SAN in Texas. I live in Orlando,FL. Does anyone know of a Rental Car Company that allows towing? Want to spare my new truck the trip. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I would check with Uhaul and Enterprise. I know Uhual lets you tow.

Enterprise does not allow towing, but some of their trucks have hitches so they can deliver a car to a customer.

If you are in awreck and are towing with an enterprise vehicle, then you might be in trouble since you will be in breach of contract.

I am driving my family to destin, fl on the 22nd. If the boat you are buying is in Houston, then I might be able to haul it as far as the destin area for you. Give me a call at 713.213.5440. Thx,

            Webb

One of my buddies flew from LA to Portland and did a one way UHaul rental van back with his boat.

I looked into towing a boat from Salt Lake City to Dallas one way and called these guys. http://www.goitr.com/ I didn't end up buying the boat so I didn't use them. But they were about the same as U-Haul and had current model GMC 3/4 ton and one ton heavy duty crew cab diesels. They are specifically set up fo towing. I am not sure if they will go one way to Florida or not, but worth a phone call. If not, I would look around for a similar shop that services Florida as well.
