    Water Level

Well, we are having ourselves a nice little drought and 104 plus degree heat and the lake we ride is so low that they have closed a lot of the ramps (especially the one I use) because you can't launch!!! This sucks...water would be a saving grace from the heat and we can't even use it...anyone else going through this???

We have actually had the exact opposite problem in Texas this year. We have had so much rain, that many of the ramps are closed because the water level is too high. Although now it appeares "summer" is finally here and things are getting back to normal. The last two years we had pretty severe drought conditions with many of the ramps closed because of low water levels! I guess one of the good things about it is, I picked up an '04 SV-211 with only 53 hours on it. The previous owners used Lake Lewisville and it has been really low until this year. Good luck with the rain, if the drought continues, use the down time to complete projects you would normally put off until winter!!

my lake is down nearly 2 feet this year. dropped my dock and moved my lift out 2 weeks ago about 30 feet and need to do it again this weekend. My boat is not stuck, but takes a bit of juice to get it off the lift again...........

Too much water here in KS and MO! Truman lake was up 26 feet at it's peak! Most ramps were closed and the debris field at the dam was/is 35 acres!

Many of the boats that were docked up are sitting in the mud right now. I had to help one buddy pull his jet ski out of the mud last weekend. I guess keeping the hours off the boat is a plus, b/c if the water was up, you can bet I'd be out most everyday the way this heat is going...

the lake i keep my boat at is 18 feet above normal. at the beginning of the year it was 13 feet below!

beginning of year, very few ramps open because of low level.

now, only one ramp open because it is so high! last sunday it was an hour line to launch, and of course another hour to retrieve.

unfortunately, i'm kind of stuck at the lake i'm at. i tow with a jeep wrangler, but will only really do that around the marina where it's stored. that combo is no fun on the open road.

Awsome water levels in Northers Indiana. Now it can stop raining or we're going to have a no wake on the lake I'm afraid.

But it's awsome for August... We only have about a month left.
