    Crazy weather

He had some crazy weather here in Northern IN last night. We received the same weather that Chicago received. I hope it drys out this wekend so I can cu the grass and then hit the lake on Saturday.

we only have a few more wekends left. I try to squeeze af ew weekends on the lake after Labor day.

Around what time of the year do most of you have to take the boat out of the water?

      RE: Crazy weather

Here in Western Oregon, the weather is usually good until mid October, sometimes the beginning of October you can still ski in shorts, and a vest, or swimsuit for you ladies. By the end of October, the weather changes, and the next time we see an air temp above 60 will be next Spring. It does not really freeze hard here, so if we wanted to, we could ski year round, with drysuits.
The Summer here has been a bit cooler than normal, but no flooding. For that I am thankful.

Most of the time, right through November. Sometimes a little in Dec. with a wetsuit.

Mike, in Dec you need a wetsuit when we need a snowsuit! You guy's are spoiled down there no doubt! Usually ski into late September and it starts getting pretty sketchy, Lake is all ice by December until the end of March, that's when we shelve the ski's and bring out the skates!

Kraven, was downtown Chicago yesterday when that weather blew thru, pretty nuts, thought the windows were going to blow out on my building.

Our lake is about 15 miles from Shelby, OH that made national news for being flooded last week. Fortunately, we didn't get as much rain at the lake and the water was up a max of less than one foot over normal. Unfortunately, they are draining the lake on September 9 for eight to ten weeks for spillway repairs. I'm going to cherish the last few pulls of the season!
              Ski on dude!

Hey fella's! We are blessed to be sure. If you ever make it down this way, you'll have all the free pulls you can handle. Along with a great hot dinner. 8-)

Chassmann, my wife is from Shelby, and still has relatives there that had lots of damage to their homes. I feel really bad about those poor people. So much of that area sits so low, and the BlackFork River overflowing, man, what a mess. Sorry your season is getting cut short. Hope you and yours are well!!

                Regards to ALL!
