I am sure winter is longer for you guys than for us - living in the north is TOUGH on skiers. Hope you can get a few nice days before spring!

ccmatt - nice work on the snow covered ski. we couldn't go past the 4th of november as our lake froze over the next day.

only 4 months to go! 3 if we get an early thaw. I think a trip to florida is in order for feb/march, as I'm starting to get a little twitchy for a ski!

Drysuits, head gear, rubber socks, dedication way above and beyond the call !!!.
What do you use to keep your hands warm/dry enough toallow you to keep hold of the handle?

hands are an issue, we plan on running a small diameter tube down the rope (and tie wrap it) and run hot water out of the shower pump - we just haven't done it yet.

best thing is have hot water on the gloves when you get in the water and keep your hands high and out of the water.

currently -47 with windchill here - man a ski would be great.

I get accused on being a bit of a nutter for skiing through a UK winter but you guys are crazy! - check out how flat calm the water is in some of the shots.....I guess that makes it all worth while. Respect!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed. I was hoping to make northern skiers jealous of our mild winters in MT.... don't think it had quite that affect on you. A little crazy helps us get through the winter - no matter what the neighbors think

That was freakin' awesome! I love how you had to plow the ramp out! hahahaha... oh and that header crash! That was horrible! Especially when it's that cold!

We're hopefully going to have our first ski in a few weeks. The ice should be gone if the warm temps stay around.
