Will your lake still be around in Spring?

Our season ended very early this Summer due to drought. Our last outing was at the beginning of August and soon after, the lake level dropped well below what the ramps could reach. Usually this time of year, I'm going through catalogs looking for fun stuff to buy for the boat for next year. With a forecast for a dry fall and possibly winter, I'm thinking there is a very good chance that there could be even less of a lake in Spring, making next year's outlook very bleak. Other than plumbing in my ballast system, there will be no other purchases for the boat.

Anyone else in the Southeast a little worried about their lake?

Our season ended early too. I usually even go once a month in the off season but that won't be the case this year. I can't get my boat in the water. It's not looking good for spring either. I'm thinking of modifying my Christmas list. No need for a new rope or wake surf board anytime soon...

It so wierd. Our season was completely shot due to flooding. I'm in North Texas and we were 24' above normal. Its so hard to believe that the conditions are so much different. We could not use the lake after june 17th and were not able to get back on it untill the end of aug.
