    Cruise Ship Wakeboarding

Did anyone by chance catch "Mythbusters" on Discovery last night? They had a guy who wakeboarded behind a cruise ship.

They let out 150 feet of rope beind the ship. He was pulled up on a barefoot boom on a separate boat which then pulled him in behind the cruise ship where he grabbed the rope and proceeded to wakeboard for probably 45 seconds. He never made his way all the way back to the handle and I'd suspect his hands got a little warm trying.........

    Pretty cool though.

That Mythbuster is actually a rerun due to the writers strike, but still entertaining! I have seen that one a couple times, and still watch it when they play it again.

Not totally related.......While eating lunch at the Margaritaville restaurant in Universal Studios, I saw a video of Jimmy Buffet Surf behind a oil tanker. It looked like a lot of fun.

I saw a pic on the internet and there were 100 people sking behind some big boat all at one time it looked pretty cool... i have pulled 8 out of the water with my 81 ski nautique. getting the ropes set up was a big hassle. i cant begin to think about 100!

Back in the mid 90s, me and my buddies hauled our jump skis to Belize with us so we could ski behind the 150ft live-aboard dive boat we were diving from. People thought we were nuts!
