Footage of a Young Scott Byerly Riding at a Clinic in 1994

    Hi Everyone,

I converted/digitized a video from a clinic that I attended with Scott Byerly over 10 years ago. I have a high quality version of this but it is over 1GB in size. So bandwith is a huge issue if the quality of this video is to remain intact. However in the interest of getting it out sooner than later, I used Google Video for now to broadcast it. I am going to continue to work on this to provide a better quality version. In the mean time I hope you enjoy. It is 24 minutes long.

Please note that there is some course language contained in some parts of the video. My/our apologies.

No problem (ok well it was a little bit of work I will admit, but I am happy to do it). It is amazing what the guy is doing with a directional board, hybrid sandal plates, and a barely-there wake. It's very motivating.

It makes me feel bad about being a wake (size) snob.

No he brought his own rope. Thats a non-stretch line. He made a point to explain it to us. After which we went home and cut up out 90ft barefoot lines

The few great wakeboarders I know have said many times that the rope means more to them than the wake, and that the rope is the single most important piece of equipment. BKH

Proves to alot of people who go out & spend 4-500$ on a new board every season or two, that they're merely pissing theyre money away...its not always the equipment...its motivation.
