Sponsorship logo mucking up the formatting of the forums.

I think it's great the Earmark is sponsoring the Stereo section of the website. I enjoy the forum and have made financial contributions myself to see that it continues to thrive. If it helps support the website, and they Earmark gets value, it's all good.

However, the additon of the logo is mucking up the formating of the forums sections. At least on my screen the subject colum is reduced to about a quarter inch wide, making it hard to read and spreading the topics down the page.

I've hung around the forum for a few years now. Not really one to complain. But, for whatever, reason, this change is really annoying to me.

Take it for what it's worth. One guy's opinion.

Wow, really? I thought I had tested it pretty well. What operating system and browser are you using?

Anyone else seeing this issue? I just tried in several browsers and can't reproduce it.

I'm using Windows XP and IE 6 and I don't see any problems

I have tried it in Safari on my Mac, and in IE7 and Firefox 3 for Vista. Can't reproduce it in any of those.

Yes, new posts view. That's the only page I ever view.

Subject colum compressed in width, and thus expanded in length.
Makes it hard to read the subject colum, and with the expanded length
of each row, I only see 4 o 5 rows per page.

Probably just me, but it's annoying. I like sites that I can hit, and scan the
page easily. BKH

I agree, not so much column width but they are annoying. Not trying to complain but letting you know he's not the only one.

The red Confirmed just means that I understand what the problem is and can reproduce it. I am working on a fix that should be in place sometime tomorrow. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I never use that particular view, so I never would have known that it was messed up.

I'm with hallpass, it is the only view I use besides search.

I only use this view as well unless I'm searching for a particular subject. I'm on Safari and Firefox on a MacBook Pro 15". It looks like this issue only occurs if I lower my resolution to 1024x768 or less or if I shrink my viewing window. With a full window at max resolution (1440x900), there is no issue.

Okay, I think I have this fixed.

I changed the layout of the graphic so that it doesn't protrude out so far from the left margin.

Here's what the new posts screen looks like now.

Is this an acceptable fix for those of you who were having issues?
