Question regarding censorship

I have a question for the members of this site:

Would you consider a personal review of a business, and a legitimate statement of facts, a personal attack that warrants removal from the board? I personally would like to know that the opinions and posts of the members of this site are honest and unbiased. It lets me know where to put my hard earned dollars. Its sort of like Car and Driver vs Top Gear (BK not the US version). Car and Driver gets paid by the car companies (in advertising dollars) to review their vehicle, so naturally they will edit their reviews to put the vehicles in a good light. Top Gear, on the other hand, refuses to accept advertising money from manufacturers in exchange for biased reviews; therefore, Top Gear's reviews are more honest and usable to the audience. The wonderful thing about the internet forum community used to be that reviews and critiques were consumer driven and more honest, but I fear that, in the quest for the almighty dollar, sites have become pawns for advertisers to sell their wares. Opinions?

BTW, the quote below was allowed to remain on this site and it calls the President a liar:

The second one could also be considered foul language I would think. I feel like there is a double standard.

It is obvious that you're upset about the rules of this site (which you agreed to follow when you joined). If you don't agree with the way things are handled here, I would suggest not visiting this site. The story that I am getting from the other member involved here is completely different from what you're saying. The other member has been a long-standing, unabrasive, extremely helpful and productive member of this site, who many people here have come to trust. I have never heard any complaints about this other member. He is a former site sponsor (not currently an active sponsor), but that has absolutely nothing to do with the way I have handled this case. You didn't follow the site terms of use. It is as simple as that. If you continue to post these abrasive comments (obviously directed at me), I will continue down the path of actions outlined in the site terms of use. I am closing this thread.
