Post editing??

It would be great if maybe we could change that so that you can edit your posts for spelling, grammar stuff like that. The whole 10 minute rule kinda sucks when you go back and re-read your post and realize that you want to insert a comma, or spell "applicable" correctly.

Is there a reason for the time limit?

It is a little embarrassing when you go back and read your own post
and discover a ton of grammatical errors. Most are just fumble
fingers with the keyboard. I agree, it might be
cool if one could run a quick spell check before posting.

On the other hand, if we had spell check, we might quickly
discover who has fumble fingers, and who just has lousy grammar :mrgreen: . HMMMM, maybe that's not such a good idea
after all.

Type your response in the mighty Microsoft Word product, run the spell checker with full options set, it should pick up most spelling and grammatical errors.
I suspect that a spell checker would involve more expense to the administrators and complexity to the site.
It would also take away some of the fun trying to work out is being said.

I'm not talking about a spell checker, I'm talking about the edit button working after you've posted.

That is just the way the forums work. I have looked into changing it before, but it is something that can't be changed without quite a bit of work.
