Thread marked as resolved for troubleshooting

I notice a lot of posters start threads in the maintenance and troubleshooting forum but often I find the thread just dies out with out the poster ever posting the final solution to thier issue. It would be really cool to get a nag email every few weeks to remind the poster to mark the thread as resolved and post the final solution. I haven't thoroughly thought it out. I've seen this sort of thing on software developer and software support forms where the one of the posts gets marked as the solution.
