I am new to the site...going on two weeks, so I may be missing something but when trying to create a personal album I can't find any pics that meet your maximum 1000 file size. I am using the kodak easy share software. I have tried to convert it by opening it as a microsoft j-peg file but to no avail. Can we expand the file size like in other areas on the site? Do you know how I can reduce the file size of my pictures?

I have upped the max file size to 2MB in the photo album.

Open the picture in Microsoft Paint, then choose

Image --> Stretch/Skew

Change the Horizontal and Vertical values to something less than 100%. Be sure to change both settings to the same value.

Save the file as a .jpg file, and post away.

I follwed your directions but when I tried to do a "save as" it did not give me a j-peg option only bMP's and GIF...

What am I missing?

Make sure when you click the "Save As" button, on the bottom of the screen that opens there should be a "Save As Type:" drop down box. You should be able to select jpeg from there.

On a side note, if that isn't working for you, just save the file as a .bmp or .gif, then manually rename the file to .jpg. It will give you a warning about formatting, but it will still work fine.
