Long Threads

I find it that when a thread gets very long (6+ pages or so) I stop getting emails telling me that a reply has been made. It says I'm watching the topic and I'm still active in replying. Is there a function that stops this automatic email thing when a thread gets too long?

For example, I'm not getting any emails anymore saying a reply has been made to the "220 - Here it is!!" thread or the "TSC3" one.

That's good to know. I wasn't aware that it stopped working on long threads. I'm not sure why it would do that, but the site software is due to be upgraded soon, and I bet there is a fix in the new code that will address that issue. We'll be moving to version 1.2h of PNPHPBB as soon as the official copy is released. They have been testing it for months, so we should get a final copy very soon. I'll check with them to see if this problem has been addressed.

Actually, I didn't even get an email saying there was a reply to this thread I just started here. So I dunno if it's the long threads only, there's more variables now.

I'll check around on my side to see if it's me and not the server. I don't think one person having trouble means its the server, it could very well be me.

I also haven't been getting any notices. My company recently cracked down on incoming emails, but PN never shows up in my junk box.

Jeff I don't know if you did anything, but after coming back from a long weekend away from the comp. I've got many notices of replies to threads. Its working.

Hmm... Must have been some type of an e-mail issue with our ISP. Glad to hear that it is working again. I didn't do a thing!
