What is "Human Verification"?

Sometimes when I try to post a reply a window pops up that says "Missing Human Verification" and it won't let me post it unless I log out and log back in. Why does this happen and is there a way around it with out logging out and logging back in?

I have never seen this before. Does this happen on a computer or on a mobile device?

It happens occasionally. It's when it asks to put in the "code" of what you see on the screen to verify you not just a spam robot

On a computer, not a mobile device. However, I don't see where it asks to put in a code like Swat said.

I will try to do that. Although, not sure I know how to take a screen shot with my laptop. Btw, it only seems to happen if I type a long post, several minutes or longer.

I've gotten it before typing a long post or just waiting a long time before I hit Post Reply. I didn't get any type of code or spam notice, I just hit control C to copy my post, went back into the area I wanted to post, hit control V to pop my message back in. When I hit Post Reply a second time, it notifies me that I have a saved post already in the system to send....so it actually saves the original that I "copied" with Control C. I've seen this about 3 or 4 times with my posts over the last year.

Got it again tonight replying to the post with the white tower......It was a one line reply...done very quickly....this site looks like it was hesitating....

It usually happens to me when I type a long post. I then have to log out and log back in. Most of the post gets auto saved so I don't have to re-type the entire post.
