I know many people have asked or wondered how to get a picture in your signiture including myself. I think it would be easier for Jeff and Luke to just post it once in this topic so whoever can look and find out whenever oppose to all Private Messaging them and then they have to respond to everyone individually. I think if it is posted here, it will become a more popular aspect of everyone's posts and just that much more about their boats or whatever will be shown.

While I am glad that we do have the option to add pictures to our signatures, I would like to ask anyone who uses this feature to remember that we pay for a certain amount of bandwidth each month, and signature pictures can be a bandwidth hog. Small pictures are not a problem at all, but I would respectfully request that anyone who decides to put a picture in their signature limit the file size to 25KB or less.
That being said, here's how to do it:
First, you'll need to host the picture that you want to use somewhere on the Internet. The easiest way to do this is to upload the picture that you want to use to your personal gallery on this site.
Once you've done that, right-click on the picture and click on Properties.
Find the Address (URL) field. Highlight that field and copy it (CTRL-C).
Go to the forums page and click on PROFILE at the top of the screen (assuming you're logged in).
In the signature field, type .
Here's an example of how the code for the picture in my signature looks:
Code:
