Add Todays Posts Back To Main Menu Please

Todays Posts used to be in the main header menu, and was my goto way of keeping up on topics on a daily basis. Sometime this winter it disappeared and got nested under Latest Topics. Due to the database timeout I have to hit Latest Topics, wait 20 seconds for the search timeout that occurs with this (usually getting a couple of you must wait errors because I am impatient) and then click on Todays Posts once the Latest Topics "search" times out.

As I mentioned in my other request thread, reducing the time between searches timer for authenticated users would be really awesome. Not going to lie, this is pretty annoying when you are trying to perform searches and such.

Agreed 100%, I have the same issue now as well. Jeff when could this be added back to the Main menu?

You should be able to use the Sitebuilder feature and edit the navigation bar. Add/edit Today's Posts entry and then Edit Usergroups.
Make it visible to all usergroups. If you take my suggestion in the other post and remove search capability from users who are not logged in (which I would suggest to cut down possible load issues or attacks using search if you reduce the time to 0) this won't function for them as it is a search. You might make it hidden for guests.

I assume it was removed in an upgrade. It may still be there, just not permissioned correctly.

I have added it back.

I removed it because I thought the Latest Topics tab would make it redundant, but I guess people still want it. It wasn't removed in an upgrade or anything.
