Installation of amps, new battery in 2005 SAN

Does anyone have a step by step web site/instruction on installing amps, extra battery for amps, wiring existing polk momos to the new amps, etc in a SAN?

Dont take this wrong but if you need step by step info you should take it to a shop. Last thing you want to do it screw up your awsome boat. I have fixed more DIY projects than I can count. Its not hard but with multiple batterys and multiple amps can be tricky.

what are most people installing in their SAN 210's as far as sub woofers and where? Looks like most people are frowning on bass tubes?

In my 00 San I had 2 kicker L715's in the rear. In the new 230 it will have 4 kicker L712's. 2 in passangers compartment and 2 in rear. Some other setup have a single 10 or 12 behind the kick pannel at the drivers seat, where ever you can make it fit and have the correct air space. It also depndes on what type of music you listen to and your budget.

I just need to know a few things from you boat stereo gurus:

what do i hook my ground wire to?
should i use the existing speaker wire coming from my polk momos to connect to the amp or should i re-wire?
whats the best way to secure my speaker box housing a 12" sub?
where is the best place to mount my amp (where i can safely drill screw holes)?

Right now, i am leaning toward putting the sub and amp under the passenger/observer seat that flips up for storage.
Can ya give me some detailed feedback? Thx
