New Tower Speaker Setup for 2005 SANTE

I have a 2005 SANTE with the factory stereo setup. Momos up front and in the back, a MOMO sub under the observer seat and a Clarion 4 channel amp mounted on the gunnel wall behind the observer seat. I want to add two speakers to the tower, and have several questions: 1) Can I find a way use the Clarion amp or do I need another Amp? 2) Is the tower pre-wired somehow and where should I look (nothing is obvious...) 4) If I am not looking to go big time on the sound, just enough to be solid, what recomendation on speakers and amp?
    Many thanks,
    GT

    3) What wiring config do I need to be able to switch off the tower speakers? 5) I saw some other posts about the front speakers distorting at volume due to being attached to the headunit--if I go with another AMP can I configure to pick up the front speakers as well?

1.) Yes, you can use the Clarion amp. It’s actually a good product.
2.) The tower is probably not prewired.
4.) To keep the bow speakers from distorting prematurely, it’s a matter of setting the gains on the amplifier so that the cockpit and bow power reach clipping simultaneously. Ultimately the best solution is to add a small 2-channel amp for the bow speakers. The needs of the tower speakers and bow speakers will be a big differential so it will be more cost effective to accomplish this with two separate amps.
3.) The Clarion head unit has the controls already to fade between the tower and boat. You can supplement this with a dedicated control at the helm.
