    Cable Routing

How do most of you route your RCA cables for Amp, EQ's etc. when going from one side of the boat to the other? Do most people use long cables and go around the bow or go around the rear or do people use shorter cables and go underneath the floor some way? I fyou go underneath the floor, how do you do it so as not to have exposed cableing?

Under is the easiest if you don't have the full playpen/closebow, what boat are you going to be doing this to? And what do you mean by exposed cableing (like running the wires through tube/wire mesh, or what?)?

I used long cables...just routed them with other wiring that was already in the boat...secured it to the other groups with zip ties....zero problems...

        210. I was just wondering if there was an easy way to go from under the driver's dash to under the passenger seat. I know it's easy to run all the way around the front of the boat, but I was trying to keep the RCA cables runs as short as possible. By exposed wire, I mean wire that you can see running along the floor. In the past I had taken a short cut with the bass conroller from one of the amps and just tried to route it through the ski locker, but I want to clean that up this time.

I had the same question about a week ago and no one helped me either. So I will shed some light on this for you if you haven’t already figured it out on your own. There is small pass through under the factory sub enclosure. I discovered it when I removed my sub. There are two openings under the driver side kick panel, one has all the ballast dump hoses and what not coming thought it, and the other is about a four inch square opening with nothing in it that passes directly into the storage compartment under the passenger seat. It is only like three inches deep so feel free to shine a light from one side to the other that is how I discovered it passed all the way through. Any ways hope this helps you it sure helped me and saved me some $$$$ in RCA for my EQ.
