Adding a pair of tower speakers

I have a pair of Kicker tower speakers and want to add another pair like them on my tower. Can I run wire from one set to the other, like pos=pos and neg=neg. I really hope this is the solution. I have a Kicker 350.2 running the tower speakers and sub. Interior runs off head unit. Thanks

As long as your amp can handle the load it won't be a problem. Check out this link it is very helpful. Remember the lower the impedance the more power, which in turn creates more heat on the amp. http://www.bcae1.com/spkrmlti.htm

are you running both tower speakers on one channel and the sub on the second channel? - the kicker 350.2 is speced out at 175 watts (2 ohms) X2 - if the current kicker tower speakers are 4 ohms each and wired in parallel you would have a 2 ohm load on one channel - and whatever load the sub represents on the other - you will be underpowered by quite a bit if you add two more speakers to the same channel besides reducing the resistance of the load to the point of potential failure
