    2000 SNCB Stereo Install

I recently purchased a 2000 SN 196, but it did not have a stereo and did not come with one from the factory. I would like to put a stereo in and have it look factory-like. Is there an install kit for the head unit and speakers? What size speakers were used in this model? I want to get a head unit that will play CD's and have an iPOD hook-up. Is the wiring already existing for the head unit hook-up? Any recommendations on a head unit and speakers that will fit in the factory locations? I still want to use the lid that closes over the head unit too. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    RE: 2000 SNCB Stereo Install

I just bought a Sony CDX-M50IP stereo (50W x 4) with 4 Alpine 6" speakers. I haven't installed yet though. I will also be adding an amp. 3 of the four speaker inserts need to be partially cut, and the fourth (under driver's seat) is pre-cut. I am hoping 6".

    Cheers,

The head unit goes into the slot under the cover near the drivers arm. There are no wires pre run I will try to take pictures of my install this weekend.
