Does anyone have an idea how to remove the Clairon XMD1 in an '01 Air Nautique? I have a new Pioneer to put in, and I keep looking at it, and I can't figure how to get it out

There are covers on each side that snap off. Removing those reveal two screws on each side. On my boat the screws were actually 3/8" bolts and nuts. It was easier to remove once I took out the passenger seat. If you have some help, you should be able to do it without removing the passenger seat.
