    Ipod-XMD3 Hook up

    What is the easiest/best method to hook up my ipod to my clarion XMD3 stereo? I just bought the boat 04 air206 TEAM. Also is the display suppose to lite up on the dash remote control?

    just get rca to 3.5mm headphone jack at walmart. plug them in to the corresponding rca's for the aux output on the xmd3

      the RCa/ aux input is the easiest and best way to do it, if you get the ipod contoller form clarion you will be restricted to labeld playlists only and you wont be able to scroll through all your music. i have the ipod controller and its junk, i am replacing it with the RCa and a 12v chager in the cubby hole by the driver.

        I purchased the following from Amazon and am very happy with it. It provides for RCA hookup for music and 12v hookup for charging. It plugs into the bottom of the Ipod which is more durable than into the headphone jack IMO. XtremeMac IPV-CAV-00 Roadshow Car Audio Cable for iPod
