No Sound from the Rear Speakers???

I just won a Super Air Nautique 220 Team Edition. I picked up the boat last week and have been trying to learn where everything is located. When I picked it up, they went over everything very briefly.

The sound system plays fine but only from the tower speakers and the speakers on the bow. Am I missing something as far as getting sound from the speakers aft of the tower? I thought maybe it was the fade that needed to be adjusted but it's not.

Any help from the stereo experts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Did you check the Fader position on the deck?

Just curious, you said you Won your 220? Where did you win it from? and can we see pics of it? as for your question, check the fade and the balance. my boat was wired up weird, front of the boat is on the front right channel, back of the boat on the front left, tower is on the rear left and right?? not sure how that works, but I think it has something to do with the 2 amps and 2 10" subs mixed in with the 4 tower and 6 cabin speakers in the boat. now that I think about it, that is a heck of a lot of sound!

RE: No Sound from the Rear Speakers???

I won it from Spy Optic and Snowboard Magazine. I subscribed to Snowboard and didn't even know I was entered. I picked up the boat last weekend and I'm just trying to figure everything out. You can see some pics here: http://www.snowboard-mag.com/node/31131

I tried the Fader as I had said in my original post but that didn't seem to be the problem. I didn't try the balance as that doesn't seem logical as you stated. I will try it tomorrow though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Could it also be a blown fuse or something?

Actually Onevw2go, I just looked at your gallery and I see that you also won one of, or have one of, the Spy boats. They're giving them away right and left! When I picked up my boat down in Oceanside, probably the same place where you picked up yours, they had a 210 there also that was going to someone else soon. You can also see an article on the Spy Optic homepage right now about me winning the contest.

How are the amps wired - is it two amps (one for tower and one for cabin plus sub?) Are the bow speakers on the head unit or amp? - Does the sub work?
I would look for having the dealer take care of the problem

Cool pics, congrats on the boat. Enjoy it! I still have mine, we are usually out 2-3 times a week. sucks gas big time, but it is sooooo worth it! I see you are in Cali, must have made it easier to pick it up. I drove from Wisconsin to Oceanside and back to get mine. 15miles to the gallon to get there..... 6 mpg all the way back. I think when I added it all up, it was like 2K$ in gas to pick it up. again, sooooo worth it! SPY rocks! again, congrats and enjoy your new ride!!

Yeah, it was a quick trip down to pick it up. It's an awesome boat! The taxes are no fun but like you said, "so worth it". I'm assuming this is you: http://www.alliancewake.com/article_...743&page=1. Weren't you trying to sell your boat at one time?

                  Congrats on yours!!!

I still can't get the speakers in the stern to work. I was messing with it today but couldn't find a balance knob to test your suggestion. I guess I'll have to take it over to Correct Craft here in town and have them look at it. Trying to get the warranty transferred so it will be covered.

I had the same problem with my 06 SAN 210. It was because the larger AMP was fried. The Tower & Bow speakers run off the smaller amp & the cockpit speakers & Sub run off the larger amp. I still had to take it in & get another one from the dealer.
