RE: New Install Wetsounds all over powered by arc audio.
very nice. you should list the watts/ohms amp models. i am about to go have my ws-12 put in next week. did you have the vents made to let the sound have somewhere to go rather than be couped up under the seat? i am debating leaving it as is, cutting vents, or having a nice shaped box built under the helm. so is tim white the same tim white president of ws? either way i really like your amp rack and the box is simple/functional and durable. are you doing a 420 or did you already? it looks like a new boat so..ask your dealer to order you a sheet of the stuff that's on the platform. it's 100$ and you can cut it to the lines of the back of the boat to protect from scratches, or if you don't want to put it on the boat you could cut strips and stack them to create a normal style transom saver. just something that i am glad i did. enjoy the ws

RE: New Install Wetsounds all over powered by arc audio.
420 Installed just not shown in pics.
Vent - At first I did not want to create a vent. However, the sub was muffled because of all the open storage space. We had to create a vent to let the sub do its thing. If you have a good sub - it pushes so much air it effects the interior speakers on left side of boat- air from sub pushes against the back of interior speakers making them sound horrible. Also, the cooler door rattled really bad. Overall, I didnt like it at first but after hearing everones remarks, Im over it. Looks Good. I would say you have to create vents and this is the best way to do so. Its a must.

RE: New Install Wetsounds all over powered by arc audio.
very nice system/boat. i think the vent looks pretty much factory. if i'd never seen the boat before that's what i would think. i was in my 210 the other day and noticed the sub is just not performing well because it is under the flip up seat. i'm pretty sure i'm going to have a box built that goes at the driver's feet. also, the way the seat lifts up on the 210(the whole darn thing) is annoying so i think i'm going to attach the carpeted part to the floor and cut it to open like yours so i can store stuff more easily and not make people move to get at stuff. so are you. i'm guessing you have 1 amp on the tower, 1 for the rear boat speakers, and one for the sub/bow speakers?

tim white, of wet sounds, is the man. so is john guyver over there. if he treats his employees as nice as his customers and continue making the best marine speakers on the market then they have a huge future ahead of them. and if for some reason it's a different tim w. that helped with your boat he does nice work.

Nice!
Nice looking install. Thanks for sharing the pics.
Where did you get the vented door? I bought a 220 a couple weeks ago and put Rubicon 450s on the tower with a 225x2 rockford fosgate amp, the stock clarion to the 6 interior speakers, and a 600.1 to the stock sub. Anyways, I need way more bass to keep up with the tower speakers.
I was thinking about venting the door since it sounds much better with the ice chest door open. Wife says the ice chest must stay so I may just add a second sub. Any thoughts or should I just replace the stock polk sub?

RE: Nice!
Can you take a picture of how you mounted your WS-420 under the dash? Did you fab up a custom bracket for it? I'm trying to get some ideas for mine...

RE: wetsounds
The door was custome made at Scream Marine in Dallas. Tim White - 972-822-9419. Its basically 1 inch thick plexi glass with the framing. In regards to sacrementias comments. I hated losing the cooler but had to. The factory sub with factory box isnt very good at all. At least I didnt think so. The sub could definitely be upgraded. Wetsounds has a new 12 inch out that supposedly is awesome and have always heard about JL Audio's subs. I have a Rockford Fosgate P2 I would sell you if interested. Most 420's are installed by steering wheel. I might have mine moved but currently mounted under and behind glove box.2014 G23 450 Coastal Edition

RE: wetsounds
VERBIER123,
We build the vents in Dallas.
Check out the thread “Nautique Stereo by Earmark”.
Our vent is made from a single piece of King Starboard which is a marine polymer that will never yellow or get brittle from UV exposure. The face is chamfered and the backside is rabbeted. Also, the vent is polished so there are no router marks. The factory holes are used so that the vent installs without modification and is reversible.
You can email us at info@earmarkcaraudio.com for more details.
CHAD52,
Check out the same thread, “Nautique Stereo by Earmark”, for an example of an EQ mounting under the Nautique dash.
