    Clarion Tower Speakers

Is it worth the extra $1,500-$2,000 for 2 extra speakers and amp or is just 1 pair of clarion's good enough in your opinion?

No way - you can get far better performance by putting that amount of money into NVS or Wetsounds with amp

You have a better chance of hearing the tunes while boarding if you buy some Wetsounds Pro-80's and run them off the stock amp. Obviously they will work much better powered from a decent amp.

Wetsounds sponsors this website, just click on the link at the top of the page for more information.

"just 1 pair of Clarion's" ??? the current stock speakers are manufactured Polk, amps/decks are Clarion

if you haven't bought anything yet figure out what setup fits your tower and what you like better and get wet sounds. if you can wait their amps will be out in a month or two, but either way you go ws speakers will let you hear while you ride. my 3some sounds phenominal with a kicker sx900.4. i was going to do a zx 850.4 but apparently it has some problems. i also hear good things about arc audio and cadence. a good amp is key. otherwise you are really just adding some speakers to your tower to listen to in the boat.
