    i dont thinki had a point in that last post. i think i just wanted to hear myself talk. i guess the point is, for any service, if you get into it and can't complete it correctly be a man and say so.

      agreed. the amp, just like nearly every other car electronic should have built in protection. i am looking at the manual for a RF T15004 amp and nowhere in it does it recommed that the power wire be fused. that being said, it is good practice to fuse the wire to protect it and yourself as listed before.
