    4 pro 60's

What do you people think of running 4 pro 60's wetsounds on the tower with a phinex gold ti 4 channel 600 watt amp to power them? And how hard is it to wire the tower for this set up? any advice would be helpful. Heard them at the store with 50watts and did not sound that good!

i cant help with the setup, but i do have some advice. i've had 3 different series pg amps crap out within a year. you really want to stick with marine amps whenever possible, but if not just mount them an get air in there. match your amp rms watts with your speakers. you can definitely exceed the rms as well. there are also diff. amp configurations which provide different amounts of power so check that out too. less power equals distortion. keep your amps at 4ohms and check out the jl marine stuff, alpine pdx-m amps, and wetsounds amps in a month or two from what ive heard

The alpine pdx is awesome I use the 150X 4 for 4 pro 80's sounds great. I used a product the stereo shop called speed wire and pulled it thru using the factory tower wires as a fish tape. The speed wire has nine wires in it and seemed a little small to me but the shop i use said it would be fine and it sounds awesome. To feed up through the. If yourun normal speaker wire you would have to run four wires up and it wouldn't fit up through the foot of my 236 tower. Good luck

I agree with nautidave about using a PDX four channel amp. Its sounds great on Wet Sounds drivers, its digital power, and its super small. Alpine has been around a long time and they are best in the industry for a reason.

I'm with damador on the Alpine PDX Amps. I just picked up a 4.150 for my tower and am so impressed with the size of it that I am more than likely going to replace my existing other two amps with another 4.150 for the interior and a 1.1000 for the subs. Two major advantages: first, they are small, stackable and al the same size. I am going to be able to save a TON of space using these amps and make it a cleaner install. Secondly, these amps consume WAY LESS power than traditional amps and that means more music for less power!! I'm all about that.
