Does anyone have an iPod hooked up to the CMD5 using the Clarion interface box? The Clarion interface cable? I would like to hear some feedback to see if either is worth buying. I currently have an iPod hooked up through the aux. input and it sounds terrible.

I am currently running my I-touch through the CMD5 CeNet interface and I love it. The adapter was $50 through Sonicelectronix.com. The menus take a little getting used to, but once you understand it's great. The song title does show up on the CMRC1-BSS remote and you can change songs just as you would a CD. You cannot navigate the Ipod menus using the remote. If you need anything else, let me know.Comment

what alpine did you get? i was looking at the new marine decks. they are so gnarly. unless i'm wrong on the more exp. one you can hold your ipod up to the unit while on sirius if you like a song and it will auto search itunes and you can choose to buy that same song.Comment
