Amp location on 196

[78LS2]

I am taking the box out of the bow of my 196, thus my amp mounting location is going away. I cant mount to the "wall" on the right of the bow area (where the fuse panel is), so where else can I mount two amps?

I was thinking of using the left side of the bow/floor area (slightly angled, carpeted area). However, I'm not sure how to secure them to that spot, as I don't think that is thick enough to screw into. Thoughts/ideas?

Yepper - Check out wakefun's setup. He has these nutcerts, like the female side of a nut, or just the threaded hole, and you epoxy them to the boat hull, that way you don't have to drill into your fiberglass.. Aikenis has them also, and everyone loves them!
