    206 stereo upgrade

I have an 03 SN 206 that I mostly use at a club lake for course skiing, but occasionally we head out to the public lake with friends and want to enjoy a few tunes. I have the stock POS in the boat now. What would you all suggest to upgrade without adding a ton of weight or a new alternator? I suppose a second battery isn't out of the question, but, again, I want to keep the weight down. I am thinking a pair of new amps and a sub and the stock polk speakers. Suggestions?

    JJ,

The factory Polk speakers are very good, they just need more power to play to their potential.

A Polk db Series subwoofer is very efficient and lightweight. It works well in either a small sealed or bass reflex enclosure.

The Alpine PDX series amplifiers, five-channel for example, run at 90 percent efficiency. The PDX are small, light and run cool.

      David,

Thanks for the reply. Do you work with Buxtons? They have a provider they recommended, but I forgot who it was. If not, no biggie, I'll still visit your shop. Your website looks good and I appreciate your response.
