    help with 5 or 6 batteries installed

    I have 3 blue top optima batteries with a perko I was wanting to put 2 or 3 more batteries in but I wanted away to only run 3 off the Alt. And have a switch to switch these batteries off I think there should be some way to put another perko or something where I can do this help me out with this everyone I'm wanting a way to have 5 or 6 batteries but when I'm running the boat only have 3 online

    Robert,

    It's pretty simple. Add another Perko switch to engage or isolate the additional battery bank. Plus, run an isolated charger for the added bank.

        I have a pair of 485s and get ready to add a pair of pro 80s running off a Boston accousit gt-28 amp and a jl 12w7 going to be running off a gt-28 and 6-6 1/2 wetsounds running off a gt-22 I want to be able to run all my speakers longer when just setting and dave Ill proably just bring it to you to do

          Thats a lot of batteries...are our 100 amp alternators capable of handling that much?

            depends on how many amps are being drawn while the engine is running..... the beauty of multiple batteries is that the alternator doesn't have to keep all of them charged (just as long as u charge them in the garage/boat house/yard.....
