Please give me feedback on the Wetsounds setups I'm considering.
I have an 08 210 with a Titan tower and an over-the-tower bimini. I'd like to preserve as much headroom as possible so I can stand up under the tower.
That rules out both single and double P485 speakers and leaves me with Pro80s, Pro60s, and MB8s.
I've ridden behind a single P485 and it was great. I've also ridden behind a single pair Pro60 and it was good but not as good as the single P485 (...it could be the P60 wasn't getting enough power).
Here are a few set ups I think might work:
1. One pair Pro80, or
2. Two pairs Pro 80, or
3. One pair Pro80 and One pair Pro60
4. One pair Pro80 and one pair MB8 (...my understanding is the MB8 doesn't project the sound like the HCLD speakers, so is it really worth anything? Or am I better off to skip it and upgrade the in-boat speakers instead. We surf and wakeboard, so maybe the MB8s would be worth it just for the surfing aspect?).
Ideally, I'd like as little hanging on the tower as possible while still getting solid sound to the rider and avoiding a bright/tinny sounding setup. I don't mind spending the money to do it right and I plan on powering whatever I get per the recommendation of Wetsounds.
Any feedback / experience would be appreciated!!
