    RE: tower wiring

Are you talking about 4 individual speakers or the double cans? Either way you just need some decent 14ga (12ga at the most) speaker wire. I would look for some twisted pair with a jacket.

i'm running the polk tower speakers 4 of them and they all have connectors so do i run 4 speaker wire or 2

and i want to add an amp or two so if i added 2 more claroin 480s that would give me 12 channels that would let me amp all mids /sub/tower and would i have to run another battery or is 2 enough i also have a line driver if that helps any

or if anybody can suggest a better setup to run this system that would great

HOW TO SET THIS SYTEM UP OR PICTURES OF OTHERS SYSTEMS INSTALLED

you will need one pair of wire per speaker (one black and one red wire (1 pair)). You currently have what amps? One clarion 480 would be sufficient for the tower speaker (one channel per speaker). The current (if you have) 480 is good for the current setup (4 cabin speakers?). Do you have a clarion 280? If so use that for the bow speakers. Use a dedicated amp for the sub ( is it factory sub?) Do you use the boat for boarding or just hanging out? I ask because you do not need to worry about the charging system as well as the batteries if you "use" the boat. I have an 06 210 as well with clarion 480, 280 - kicker 750.1 and 850.4 - all on factory interstate batteries and will run the stereo for several hours as loud as you want without hesitation at startup.

just do what I did. Buy a jl 6 channel marine amp and run the six interior speakers off of it, one per channel. Run the four tower speakers off the clarion 480, one per channel, and then run your sub from the 2 channel amp bridged to one channel! Sounds great! no need for another battery. Leave the two factory wired just as they are and then power the 6 channel right from the port side battery!

                        Mike,
How do you run the cable inside the tower? Are you able to purchase without the connectors soldered (sp?). Or do you sweat them off when you get them? Roughly what's the OD of the cable?

                        thanks

Miljack - the nutrik connectors use screw set and are not soldered. Do you have holes in the tower? If not you will have to drill them. Afterwards use a vacuum to suck a pull string in and you are good to attach the wire and pull through.
