Any marine mp3 cd units out there?

Im looking to upgrade the original tap/fm stereo in my 95SN. Im looking for an marine unit that will play mp3 format cd's. Anyone know if there is a marine rated unit that will play mp3 recorded cd's. I have only been able to fine car units. I have a Clarion car unit that I have had in the boat beginning this summer it has quit working after it was splashed. Got a wave over the windshield while the stereo cover was open. :oops: Opps.

Can't answer the question directly but be sure the one you have doesn't revive. I've got a standard SONY cd player in my 88' and did the same thing last week. Took a wave over the windshield and the readio got wet. Was out yesterday in the 90 degree heat and it must have dried it out cause everything started working again. Maybe you'll get lucky like I did and you won't have to drop $$ on a new tune box.

No stereo expert, but pg 155 of the July Wakeboarding Mag has the JBL MR-25 saying something about MP-3 decoder?

The JBL MR-25 plays Mp3s. The only downfall is the display is almost impossible to see in direct sunlight.

Thanks for the info. The unit did begin working again after drying. This was the 2nd time this happened. I will try leaving the cover closed and operating it with the remote fom now on.
