I have a 2001 Sport Nautique w a XMDI Clarion cd player and radio. I want to install an Audiovox Xpress plug and play model and docking station in the front glove box which would work w/ the stock radio in my boat. I have purchased an FM Direct Connection kit to connect the XM docking station to the stock radio. I was going to mount the plug and play docking station in the glove box on a 3 inch platic marine mount so it would be out of the way and safe. I would then run the power and anntenna wiring under the front passenger seat and across the walkway threshole to connect to the FM Direct kit located near the stock radio.
Has anyone installed a similar product and can anyone give me any wise install advice for installing an XM plug and play docking station?
