    RE: Wire

Best check those loads. I think that if you are adding a second amp, you may be increasing the current that will flow through those wires. 8 gauge may not be sufficient for a your upgraded system.

you have to run a separate (8 gauge power and ground) to a fuse for each amp just wondering if i can run the ground to the same battery

I misunderstood. I thought you were running 8AWG from the battery to the distribution block.

          Fitzee,

careful, Your wire size depends on your amps and length of wire run.

Are you sure you have an amp wired through a breaker? What size (current rating) is the breaker? I believe you should have an inline fuse on the 8ga for the amp.

no i'm not sure just by looking at it it looks like and it says- amp 1- amp2-stereo-auto bilige-power-and it has the big red battery shut off switch 1-2-all and its in the back storage compartment and seems everything runs into it

it has the red push button style breakers and for the amp that there now it has a 50 and for spot where it says amp 2 it has a 30 which i was going to change out and put a 50 in

hopefully someone knows what i'm talking about
