    RE: mounting amp

I learned a long time ago to not test that one. Personally I would use a couple big chunks of the hook side of velcro. Or , depending upon what your 5/8 material is, remove the carpet nice and clean smaller than your panel, and adhere it with epoxy or something of the sort. Whatever is appropriate for your material.

I was just wondering the same thing (i.e., how to mount a buffer board to hold my amps). I would not have thought of velcro. Thanks Wakeslayer!

May not be the best way, but you won't have a hole in your boat, nor mess with your carpeting.
I accidentally drilled a 3/32 hole through my SN in 1996. A cleverly placed decal fixed the problem, but I still won't even drill intentional ones because the experience freaked me out. I make my brother or a buddy do it. Both think it is quite funny to this day. I, however, do not...

          Fitzee,

You may want to check with your dealer or Call CC directly. I removed one of the screws on the factory installed amp and used it to match up for the additional screws required for the second amp.
