    Wetsounds WS-440 ?

Heard a rumor today that a WS-440 is on it's way for early summer. Will include an integrated speed based volume control that allows user to set low & high speed independently for cabin and tower speaks and a setable limiter to minimize annoying the folks on the other side of the lake when that surprise extra-loud song comes on (or mikeski tries to get everyone jamming just a bit too much after his 4th Lagavulin).

    Confirmation?

That would be sweet. I have been wanting to add a 420 for a while. With the speed volume control I would definitely pull the trigger.

      Where did you hear that?

Sorry, There will NOT be a WS-440 this summer.

You can do the same thing right now using a WS-420 with the Boost Box. That is how I have it set up in my boat. Using the boost box for the auto volume control. You can also do it with the HSE box but since that unit has a line driver in it and the 420 has a line driver in it. It is a bit more work tuning the system out. Since the boost box controls the radio. It doesn't affect the 420.

Wish I could say the rumor was true.

I have the WS420 and HSE revolution volume control. Now, I cannot imagine not having either, both are awesome products that make a day's boating so much more enjoyable.

I first dialed everything in with the WS-420 then added the HSE box, was not bad at all to get this stuff tuned in.

Hey Tim, do you know if the Boost Box is compatible with any Alpine decks? I noticed they had other brands listed, but I really would like to add one if I could.

Me too. I'm bummed. Got my hopes up, now dashed. Oh well. I've got a Revolution sitting in a box waiting for snow to melt, but an integrated solution would have been nice.

I am not sure if they have anything for Alpine yet. I had heard they were working on them. Hit them up and see.

              Mikeski,

Is the line driver on the hse adjustable? I am curious as I would be worried about over driving the input stage. It says it can do up to 13.5 volts. And then being right on top of the 420. Then the 420 sending more voltage to the amps.

But if you have both and it works, I trust your judgment!!

I talked with one of the guys from Watersport Innovations, and they are in the works on creating a compatible unit. They just need some guinea pigs like me to help them.
