    clarion xmd3 sub setting

    does changing the low pass to rear cancel out the filter? i want to turn it off.

    If i understand your meaning and if I remember correctly, the XMD3 defaults to lowpass on the rear output whenever power is lost. You can correct this on the front panel controls. The procedure is buried in the owners manual. It's not a bad idea to have a constant memory lead bypassing the battery switch to eleviate this issue. A direct memory lead won't be a problem if you use a charger.

      you're right. it's the title/adjust button. hold it down use left and right arrows til you get to lpf and then press up/down arrows until you get to rear(full range). press t to exit. supposedly after 48hrs of no power it resets unless you do what david said w/ the memory lead.
