New style sub enclosure? Wife wants more storage space...

Noob question here. Just bought my first Nautique, a 2005 Air 216 Team. Part of the reason for the 216 was to get as much storage as possible... So what are my options for mounting the subwoofer? I was suprised to find almost the whole area under the observers seat filled with the sub and enclosure. I don't remember it that way at the boat show. Is there a newer style enclosure that is smaller?

    Thanks

Audioformz.com has a killer little enclosure that is much smaller than that factory one. The factory is way too big for the sub anyways. My dealer will replace the factory one for the audioformz one. I am running a audioformz in my boat with the polk 10 and it hits way harder than the factory style. You can get them in white, red, or black.

The sub under the passenger seat is a poor design in general. Moving under the driver's footwell is a much better solution but it's not an easy solution. The factory box changed in 2007 or so but it's even bigger than the older box. Likely they removed the sub for the boat show to display the storage. If I had a 216 it would probably have a down firing 12" subwoofer built into a jump seat behind the driver or in the walk through. I have also seen guys build a box for the bow that fills the space created under the bow filler cushion and port it towards the passenger compartment, never heard it but they claim it sounds much better then the sub under the passenger seat.
