please help me fast tower speaker kicker replacment so confu

I just got a boat out of california it had the red kicker tower speakers in it but they were losing their seals. The dealer said he would replace them. When it got shipped up it had some stupid alpines it it. I called him out on it hes going to fix it I took the speakers out and found this? what is that a crossover or something what the heck speakers do I need to replace with its an 06 so I cant find the original speakers and their is four wires coming out Please help ASAP!

Back off the zoom on the pic - I have no idea where the wires are going.
Looks as if one set is connected to the nylon insert hex nut?
Cut the silicone and pull that item out - so as to get a better look at it.
How many wires go to each of the speaker cans?
How is the amp wired for the tower speakers?

their not connetcted to the nut two wires into the can looks like the go into whatever that thing is in the back of my cans then 4our wires coming out?

The two red splice connectors were connected to the speaker? Is there a connector for the power from an amp on the outside of the can? How many wires ran up the tower?
The two wires without the red connectors were attached to something? What were they cut off of - if they were cut?

figured it out there are from a componet set the dealer is gonna send me a pair of pro 80s instead the componets wernt marine speakers. He said he would give me 650 or pro 80s do you think i should take off my cans and put the 80s up or take the money and buy 6 new speakers but which ones?

Looks like you have a single wire coming into the can from the "outside" which goes to a component splitter or "crossover". Then there are two sets of wires coming out going to the mid driver and tweeter (the small one in the middle). If you decide to stick with component speakers I would get something bright like the polks, but ideally, I think you'll do better with the pro 80's. They're good times.
