Titan Alpha II Speakers

I have a pair on my tower now. Looking to change out the factory amp and possibly add another amp later if I get more speakers. What is the best amp I can put on these tower speakers to get them louder?

I have a Kicker 350.2 that I can swap out the Factory Clarion Tower Amp. Is that too much power for the Titans?

Looks like the speakers are 125 watts rms - that kicker 350.2 (is it ZX?) is 110 watts rms at 4 ohms - not too much power. I dont think you are going to get much louder if you have the current amp (which one by the way) dialed in correctly. You have a car speaker in an outdoor open environment.

I have the 160 Watt amp in the boat now. I am at school so I cant really look into it much right now but will be able to this weekend. I know those speakers arent the best, and I have thought about going with the Kicker KMT6's since they are cheap and would be better then whats there, how much would I gain in adding another pair of Titans?

Wetsounds are not an option right now, but if I ran across a pair of cheap Titans that might be and have 2 pair on the tower. Sound gets back to the rider now but I know the Kickers are better since I had them on my old boat with the 350.2 amp powering them.

IMO you are going to be better off with the kickers rather than the two extra Titans. I would suggest saving up some cash and selling the existing Titans to get some NVS or Wetsounds if you want LOUD.
