Speaker wiring diagram on the 2009 models.

Does anyone have a speaker wire diagram for the 09 boats? I have figured most of it simply by pulling pairs of wires at the amps. All of the speaker wires terminate to a molex connector so they are hard to trace. If anyone here has any detailed knowledge on this please share. I am no stereo expert but I don't think the current wiring is ideal. I may add one more amp dedicated to the sub and move the bow speakers from the head unit channel 2 on the primary amp.

Polk 500.4 running in 3 channel mode. The amp push button indicated 2 channel mode but there are three pairs of wires so I am assuming it is 3 channels this way.

Sub is bridged on channels 1/2.

Mid L/R speakers are wired parallel on channel 3.

Rear L/R speakers are wired parallel on channel 4.

Bow L/R speakers are not on an amp. Head unit is powering those.

The secondary amp is also a 500.4 and has 4 pair of wires going into it. It is in bridged 2 channel mode. Two pair of those are going to the tower. There are another two pair on the same terminals as the two pair running up the tower. I haven't been able to trace where these are going. Does anyone know if these are supposed to go up to the tower for a total of four speakers? If they do why didn't CC wire them through the tower like the first two pair. Also, why are they doubled up on the same terminals instead of putting them on separate channels? I can only assume they get more power this way.

you should power all of your in boats off the 4 channel and your sub off the other one and get a tower speaker amp or run your towers on the 2nd amp and get a dedicated sub amp. there are multiple ways to power this stuff. call earmark and ask them what you should do. in my experience most boats do not come with properly installed audio systems, nor do cars for that matter. there is an art to it. i recently read about a new nauti w/ cross overs hanging by wire. you need to get your bow speakers powered up for sure.

Can you elaborate on this one? ...are you saying that the crossovers were just hanging from the speaker wire? ...and not mounted to the hull?

i read it on here somewhere that when someone was doing work they found that the crossovers on the inboats were not mounted, but hanging by the wires attached to them. it was fairly recent.

My dealer was able to get all the wire docs directly from Correct Craft.

The crossovers on the 2009s are built into the speaker so I am not sure about anything hanging from wire. This is the cleanest stereo install I have ever seen from the factory on boat.

I am going to replace the second Polk 500.4 with a Wetsounds SYN4. This will power four Pro 60s. Take the sub off amp one,install a third amp (Polk 400.1) that will just run the sub. Move the bow in boats to amp one where the sub was. This will leave me with one free channel on amp one and should sound pretty good. Also adding a Wetsounds EQ.

Why is there one free channel on amp 1?
Ch1 & 2 is for the parallel 4 inboard speakers. Ch3&4 is then free for the bow speakers, or am I mistaken?

Well it could be done that way but bridging channels 3/4 for just the bow speakers would be too much power i think?

One more question maybe someone here can answer. I ordered my boat with the 500.4 prep kit but the tower only has two pair of wires coming out the top. There are four pair on the amp. Where do they hide the other end of those two pair? They are definitely not in the tower and I don't want to rip the boat apart to find them.

if i ever get to order a new 210 I want to get it w/o any stereo equipment in it whatsoever. no in boats, no towers, no wires. no head unit.
