I called them up and the owner said they would be in this week, so I ordered one.

    We will see...

      An update.

Pacific Stereo has not yet shipped the remote (MC10), they said Alpine is giving them the runaround.

I called Alpine (800 421 2284 x860304) was told 250 units went out, I asked where, they said no idea, was told 250 more in the next couple weeks.

What specific guy did you order with? I also ordered one from them after you made the post earlier, and they keep blaming Alpine too. Keep me updated (PM me) on your order and I will do the same. I'm tired of calling them every week.

Sweet! mine is waiting for me at home, I will be installing it tomorrow and i'll give some reviews...I was hope this wireless unit works better than the little remote. I already had to send back my little remote to be fixed. I think having a constant power for the remote will solve the delay issues that the little remote had using batteries.

SurfRC, what is the diameter of the unit? I remember that Alpine told me last spring that it was going to be 5 inches in diameter, but yours doesn't look that big?

Well, all i can say is that it was worth the wait. I knew Alpine wasn't going to disappoint. The MC10 was easy to install and works perfectly. There is no time lapse between hitting a button and response (using 2.4ghz).

For install, it comes with a automotive grade adhesive ring that will stick to the dash and no need for the included bracket on the back (which is too small for factory hole anyway). I also hooked up my little M1RF remote in addition and works fine.

You can adjust subwoofer output, and search your iPod, sat radio, usb from this remote......definitely got to have another on the back of the boat!

I just bought an Alpine ida-X100 head unit for my 2001 Super Air! My question is does anyone offer an adapter plate to fill the Clarion XMD1's larger hole, or do I need to custom make one? Thank You, Marty
