I need some help guys as I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to car audio. I currently have a head unit with 2 pre amp outputs (1 front and 1 rear). I have 4 new tower speakers (MB Quartz Discus series). I also have a clarion APX 400.4m for the tower speakers and a basslink sub. I currently have the basslink connected to the front rca output from the head unit and the clarion amp connected to the rear rca output. Now to my question, how do I wire the 4 tower speakers to the amp? I have each speaker on a separate channel and I currently only get sound out of the 2 speakers that are connected to rear channel (I guess since I have my rca cables from the head unit connected to the rear input on the amp). Do I just wire the 4 tower speakers to the 2 rear channel outputs on the amp in parallel? (ie. 2 speakers wired to the right rear and 2 to the left rear?) I am assuming if I do this, I will be running the tower speakers at 2 ohms. Is this correct and if so will the amp handle this? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I really do not have a clue.

I'm going to assume that you have 2 sets (4 total) outputs on the headunit. You are then running 2 of the 4 to the 4 channel amp and the other 2 from the headunit to the sub (which I assume has some sort of need for rca inputs).
Can't you just get a set of rca Y splitters. This way you can make the 2 preouts you are using for the amp into a total of 4 and still keeping the other 2 from the headunit to the sub.
Hope I am thinking about your situation correctly.

I agree with Tranner. I assume your 400.4 is a 4 channel amp as you've said that you had each speaker wired to it's own channel. All you need to do is get some RCA splitter cables to convert your RCA cable from 2 into 4 at the amp. You are only getting output from 2 channels because you currently only have 2 channels of input.
Just make sure you plug the splitters into the same colours. ie one splitter for red, one for white.

White,
FYI the manual to your amp is available online: http://www.teamclarion.com/sharedwebdbs/ClarionSupport.nsf/b519d112bdcca8b588256a630071fab1/e469e62058003a2f88256e43006d52b3/$FILE/APX400.4M%20(OWNERS%20AND%20INSTALL).pdf
There is a switch to jump the rear channel input to the fronts so you don't need the external Y.
There is another option if you push that amp a little harder, the way I would do it if it were my boat. Assuming you have 4 speakers in the boat (4 ohms each), 4 speakers on the tower (4 ohms each), and the basslink, you could run the 4 boat speakers off the amps front channels and the tower off the amps rear channels (2 speakers to each channel). Put a Y in the front RCAs to the basslink. This way you can use your deck fader to balance the sound coming out of the tower speakers. The amp should handle the 2 ohm/channel load.
